General Announcements

The Elders are taking names for potential council members. If anyone in the congregation has someone they would like to recommend as a potential council member, please have them reach out to an Elder by 9/20 with the person’s name.

The TLC class will be doing a prayer walk around the church and around Central Manor Elementary School on Sunday, September 20 from 9:30-10:30. This is a time to pray for our church and schools. All are welcome to join.

Heartfelt Ministries

Heartfelt ministries is still in need of a Heart Mom for Monday nights (once a month) and Tuesday nights (once a month).  Please contact Sue Forry or Lisa Davis for more information.

Resources

Need some encouragement? A good Bible study? We have resources available to you! RightNow Media is free for all our members and attenders.  If you don’t already have access to this gigantic video library, send your email address to the church office or text “RightNow CMANOR” to 41411. Also feel free to check out materials for both children and adults in the church library located downstairs to the right of the ramp.

125th Celebration

On November 8th we will be having our Harvest Party and also continuing to celebrate our 125th year of Central Manor Church. More details coming soon.

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is open by appointment only. Please contact the church office if you are in need or aware of a need. Thank you to all those that donated food.

Save the Date

Mark your calendar: This November we are planning to host an outreach weekend event with former Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Dickie Noles. More details and registration information will be released as the event nears. Start spreading the news!

Women’s Bible Study will begin meeting at the Parsonage on September 16 at 6:30pm. They will be finishing up their study on Esther with Beth Moore. All women are invited to join at anytime! There is much to glean no matter when you jump in!

Level Up

Take you next steps in serving and involvement here at the church. A Level Up class will be starting September 27 during the 9:30am Sunday school hour. Please contact Pastor John or the church office if you are interested in attending.

Volunteer Opportunities

We want to effectively minister to those who worship with us through online church. We are looking for a few people to function as “hosts” for our online services. Basically this area of service and ministry will be to engage and interact with those attending church online. We will train you and schedule you based on your availability. If you are interested in serving or just want to get further information, contact Pastor Scott or Jason.

Youth Overtime Fall Kick Off is 9/13 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM! This will be at Wes and Laura Funk’s house – 516 Habecker Church Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603. Dinner will be provided. There will be yard games and swimming in their pond (with a floating trampoline). Please bring along a swimsuit and towel.
