Third church service. We are planning to begin a third church service at 9:30am on Sunday November 15, 2020. The reasons for this additional service are 1. We are above our capacity that we set of 125 per church service 2. The upcoming holidays, with likely increased attendance as we approach our Christmas service, the Sunday before Christmas and our Christmas Eve service. We are planning for this service to carry on at least until our resurrection Sunday celebration at Easter. We will monitor our needs and adjust as we go.
Ways you can help – 1. If you see that the seating is filling up, consider using the overflow room in the Fellowship Hall. 2. With adding another service we have increased needs for ushers, greeters and Welcome Center workers. There is a signup sheet at the Welcome Center. If you are an adult, teen, or family unit that would like to help out, sign up! You will need to wear a smile under your mask and warmly welcome everyone as they come to church. See Tony and Nicole Sahd for more information.
With planning to begin a third church service, we are also planning to begin a new Sunday School class on November 15 at 10:45. This Sunday school is intended to be integrated but we would also like to be able to reach young adults who are single or married to be a part of this group. Daryn Vinson is planning to teach. He may have some help alternating with a couple of others.
Operation Christmas Child
Our Operation Christmas Child Box campaign has started! There will be OCC boxes and brochures available to help you bless a needy child this Christmas located in the upper lobby. Please carefully follow the instructions in the OCC brochure to help us prepare the boxes for the next location. All boxes need to be returned by Sunday, November 15 when we will have a time of prayer for the children who will receive the boxes. Thank you for participating.

The meal will consist of chicken BBQ, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, rolls and pie or cake for dessert. Please bring your own utensils, napkins, cups. Please help us plan by providing the number of meals needed for your family on the bulletin tear off. Following lunch join us for games, cake walk and fellowship. If anyone would like to bake a cake to donate for the cake walk, please contact the church office. Dress warm and bring lawn chairs. We would like to eat outside if the weather allows.

Due to covid restrictions we are shortening our procedures – there will be no date marking or sorting of outdated items. Also, there will be no lunch. We would appreciate any amount of time that can be given. Please wear a mask, gloves will be available. Thank-you for supporting this ministry.

We want to effectively minister to those who worship with us through online church. We are looking for a few people to function as “hosts” for our online services. Basically this area of service and ministry will be to engage and interact with those attending church online. We will train you and schedule you based on your availability. If you are interested in serving or just want to get further information, contact Pastor Scott or Jason.
