Our Grounding

"And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus."

Why it is important?

The Word of God is our priority here at Central Manor Church. We intend to keep it front and center as the primary ministry of the church. With that said, we take a strong stand on the authority of the Bible. We believe that it is the final authority for faith and practice. It is all that we need to know about God and how to live.

Preaching

Our preaching at Central Manor is primarily expository preaching. We believe that God has sent His message to us. The Bible is God message to us. That message must be faithfully presented to those listening and application should be made.

Teaching

Our Sunday Schools have the purpose of teaching the whole Bible. Not that we can ever plummet the depths of the Bible, but that we intend that every five years to take every person in our church through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. We can’t of course teach every book of the Bible, but we will teach every section of the Bible with special attention given to Genesis, the gospels, and the beginning of the church in Acts. Any books we might miss in a particular 5 year set will be slated for another set of 5 years. We want people to feel like they know the Bible after being here for a number of years.

Here at Central Manor Church we exist to glorify God by raising a people that seek to Love and Obey God, Love and Serve Others.
